Kop Hill Climb, 22nd - 23rd September 2012

Kop Hill Climb gets better every year Back in the old days .................
Putting up the shelter was a piece of cake for the skilled team ..... making slow progress
We're in business with Steve's ex-works TR7V8 on pole We were very pleased to welcome visitors from KVG, NLG, Goodwood and Cotswold Vale groups (amongst others)
The catering staff swing into action ...... and the Chef is ready to feed the masses
Word spread that the bacon and sausages were ready !
Ready for the punters. It got very busy an some ten thousand people came through the gates on the Saturday
Lovely Blower Bentley Something for everyone
Really busy down on the start line Veteran, Edwardian, Vintage and motor cycles were all there, and were followed by some real exotics .......
Roger and Julia go for it Andrew at the wheel and Ron on the maps
Unfortunately, after a gloriously sunny day on the Saturday, the weather changed for the worst on Sunday morning .........
....... making things rather difficult for the competitors Despite the wind and heavy rain, the kitchen staff soldiered on ......
...... but in the end the weather got the better of us and it was time to put the toys away and go home

Thanks to Heather, Roger, Brian, Louis, Geoff and all the others for pictures.
