Chiltern TRs

"Drive it Day" run to Coventry Transport Museum, 26th April 2009

Getting ready for the off ..... ..... all present and correct
By arrangement, we arrived at the back door ! ..... and we didn't loose anyone on the way
It was nice to have secure parking in the city centre but that meant the public couldn't see the cars A Chiltern Team picture, missing Heather who is taking the picture
A useful source of spares ?? A very nice 1929 Austin 7 Swallow, an early William Lyons effort
Sounds familiar ! A very presentable 1975 Reliant Scimitar SE5A
A nice diarama of an early village garage scene The exhibits covered every era of motoring
John Bennett's father-in-law's Austin 6. An excellent restoration job by the man himself. Chiltern Team pay homage at the nearby Standard Triumph monument
.... which commemorates car manufacturing in the Coventry area The convoy wends it's way home after a great day out

Thanks to Heather and Roger for the pictures
